Membership of IOSDA is open to individuals and companies active in iron ore and related markets. Events include regular meetings in Singapore and London as well as dedicated seminars designed to build product knowledge and awareness – and encourage new buyers, sellers and brokers into the market. Full Members of the IOSDA whose membership fees are fully paid are entitled to:
• Attend the general and extraordinary meetings of the IOSDA
• Vote in elections held by the IOSDA (1 membership = 1 vote)
• Receive communications, daily forward curves and weekly newsletters from the IOSDA
• Receive a membership discount on indices produced by the IOSDA
• Receive a membership discount for attending IOSDA conferences and events
• Receive an annual membership directory of members and associate members
• Use the IOSDA logo in marketing material for the member company
• Elect a representative to stand for election to IOSDA committees
All members of the IOSDA must:
• Have demonstrated they are active in promoting the use of Iron Ore and related Derivatives
• Have a reasonable knowledge of Contracts, indices and settlement mechanisms (swaps, futures and options) promoted by the IOSDA
